Questions
Worth fixing? The short answers.
Compare the repair with what it would cost to buy the same phone again second-hand. If the repair is up to about half of that, fix it. If it is clearly more than the phone is worth, buying a replacement usually makes more sense. In between it depends on the rest of the phone, so we check it for free first.
Yes, repair it. Our iPhone 14 Pro screen repair is $199, and a working iPhone 14 Pro sells for roughly $500 used (our estimate).
Probably not. Our Galaxy S21 screen repair is $328, and a working Galaxy S21 sells for roughly $160 used (our estimate). We fit genuine Samsung screens at Samsung’s official Australian pricing, which is why older Galaxy screens can cost more than the phone is worth.
Usually. A battery is one of the cheapest repairs and fixes the most common reason a phone seems to be “dying”. On older, low-value phones it can be borderline, so check your model above. Battery health checks are free.
They are our rough estimates of what a working phone of that model sells for second-hand in Australia, and they move with storage, condition and time. They are not a trade-in offer. The repair prices are our real advertised prices.
